A graduate and medal winner from the Ontario College of Art and Design, my current focus as a professional designer is new concept commercial projects within an interior, graphic and architectural context. I have led teams of incredibly talented designers on numerous award winning projects ranging from retail design, restaurant and hospitality design as well as multi-dwelling residential design. My current focus has been retail design and its relevance within contemporary society. Most recently was my collaboration with Richard Unterthiner on a conceptual room installation as part of the Gladstone’s Hotel’s annual Come Up To My Room alternative art and design event. As a sessional instructor at OCAD, my instruction revolves around the relevance of drawing as an essential tool in the design process. Moving through intuitive, digital and technical drawing modes, students gain dexterity and confidence in their ability to effectively relate spatial concepts through drawing.
